Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

Encore After is run by EncoreAfter LLC, a New Jersey company. These terms are the agreement between you and EncoreAfter LLC when you use an Encore After page, buy a kit, subscribe to Pro, or use the customer app. Using any of them means you accept these terms. The Privacy Policy says what is collected and why, and is part of this agreement.

What Encore After is

Encore After gives you a page at your own address on encoreafter.com. A tap on one of your pieces, or a scan of your QR code, opens that page. A customer picks an amount and continues into a payment app he already has: Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Cash, or a link you add. The money goes from his account to yours.

Encore After never holds, moves or processes money. It is not a payment service, a bank or a money transmitter. It has no balance, no payout and no processor. The payment apps you link to belong to their own companies, under their own terms, and you are responsible for your accounts with them.

Who can use it

Your account

Your account is a passkey on your phone or computer, not a password. You add more devices from your dashboard, and you get recovery codes for the day you lose one. Keep the codes somewhere you can find them. Encore After asks for no email address, phone number or legal name, so there is no reset link to send: if every device and every code is gone, the operator who set you up can help, and that help may involve confirming who you are in a way you both agree on.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell [email protected] at once if you think someone else has got into it.

Your page and your content

What you put on your page is yours: the name you choose, the photo, the tagline, the payment handles, the wishlist, and anything else you fill in. You give EncoreAfter LLC permission to show it to the people you share your link with, and to store and back it up so the page works. That permission ends when you remove the content or close your account, apart from backup copies that expire on their own schedule.

Every field starts blank. What you say about yourself, including where and when you work, is your choice at the precision you choose. Encore After never fills in, infers or publishes anything about your location or schedule, and one switch turns the whole thing off.

Your address on encoreafter.com is permanent once your pieces are made. You can change everything on the page, but the link itself stays, because it is printed into the pieces.

Tips

A tip is a voluntary gift from a customer to a performer, sent from his own payment app. It is between the two of them. EncoreAfter LLC is not a party to it, does not see it, cannot refund it and cannot reverse it. A tip is final once sent. A customer who disputes a voluntary tip with his payment provider may be committing fraud.

A tap on your page records that a customer started a tip. It does not prove the money arrived. Your dashboard calls that "initiated" and keeps it apart from what you confirm, and the two never merge. Only your payment app knows what you actually received.

Encore After never adds a note, memo or description to a payment on your behalf.

Kits and pieces

Stickers, cards, key tags and wristbands are sold on the Products page at the prices shown there. Sales tax and shipping are added at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe, which holds your name, email, shipping address and card. EncoreAfter LLC keeps only the order itself and which kit it was.

Each piece is set to open your page, so it is made for you. Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship: email [email protected] with your order email. Once a piece has shipped it cannot be returned, because it opens nobody's page but yours. A piece that arrives damaged, does not open your page, or is not what you ordered is replaced or refunded if you tell us within 30 days of delivery.

A kit includes a page and the free features for as long as Encore After runs. A promotion, a free period, a referral credit or an ambassador reward is months of Pro, never money, and the terms of each are set when it is offered and can change for future orders.

Pro

Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown in your dashboard when you subscribe. It renews on its own at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time from your dashboard through Stripe's billing portal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing is charged after that. Part-periods are not refunded.

A gift of Pro bought by someone else for your page is added to your account and is not refundable to the buyer. A year of Pro bought with a kit is handled the same way.

If the price of Pro changes, you will be told at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then. When Pro ends, the Pro features lock. Nothing is deleted: your book, your records and your page stay as they were and come back if you subscribe again.

A failed renewal payment does not lock you out at once. Stripe retries, and your access runs to the end of the paid period either way.

Records and statements

Your taps, confirmations, earnings, expenses and statements are records you keep. They are built from what you and your customers do on the page and what you type in. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and Encore After does not file anything for you. Check them against your payment apps before you rely on them, and talk to a tax professional about what you owe.

The customer app

A customer can save the pages he has been given in the customer app. The app holds his list behind a passkey, and he can delete it himself at any time. A performer decides what a customer can see and can withdraw it. Nothing in the app is a public directory, and a customer sees only the pages he was given. Messages and posts delete themselves on the schedule the performer sets.

Rules

Do not use Encore After to:

Removal requests and legal process are handled on the takedown page.

Ending the service

You can stop using Encore After at any time. To close your account and remove your page and records, email [email protected] from a device that is signed in, or with proof you hold the page. Deletion is done within 30 days. Backup copies expire on their own schedule; the Privacy Policy gives the timing. The passkey on your phone is yours to delete.

EncoreAfter LLC can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and can disable a page or content that puts someone at risk, after telling you where it safely can. If Encore After ever shuts down, you will be told at least 30 days ahead and given a way to export your records.
